Artisans’ Bank Welcomes Matthew McGonigal
as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Wilmington, Delaware – June 2026 – Artisans’ Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew McGonigal as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
As a member of the Bank’s executive leadership team, McGonigal will oversee key operational areas including deposit and loan operations, information technology, digital banking, customer experience, marketing, facilities, and vendor management. In this role, he will help drive operational excellence, support innovation, and strengthen the systems and services that enable Artisans’ Bank to continue delivering exceptional experiences to customers and communities throughout Delaware and beyond.
McGonigal brings more than two decades of banking and operational leadership experience to Artisans’ Bank. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Director of Digital Experience & Operations at 1st Colonial Community Bank, where he led initiatives across operations, digital banking, information technology, facilities, and enterprise-wide strategic projects.
Throughout his career, McGonigal has demonstrated a strong ability to build high-performing teams, improve operational efficiency, and implement technology solutions that enhance both employee and customer experiences. His expertise includes process improvement, digital banking strategy, vendor management, operational infrastructure, and organizational transformation.
