Investing In Community

Working Together To Strengthen Our Communities

At Artisans’ Bank, we believe that being a community bank means more than providing financial services. It means being present for the communities we serve, investing in our neighbors, and taking an active role in helping our local communities thrive.

That commitment was on full display during our recent Community Impact Day. For one afternoon, Artisans’ Bank team members stepped away from their desks, offices, and branches and came together with a shared purpose: to give back to the communities that have supported us for more than 165 years. Across Delaware, employees volunteered at Food Bank of Delaware and Goodwill locations, dedicating their time and energy to organizations that provide critical resources and opportunities for individuals and families throughout our state.

Together, our team contributed 276 volunteer hours in support of two outstanding nonprofit organizations. The impact of those efforts included:

  • Milford Food Bank: Team members sorted approximately 4,000 pounds of donated goods that will help provide food assistance to local families and hunger relief partners.

  • Newark Food Bank: Volunteers processed eight pallets of citrus, totaling approximately 18,500 pounds, helping ensure fresh produce reaches community members through the Healthy Pantry Center.

  • Six Goodwill Locations: Teams processed 292 donations valued at more than $16,000 and evaluated 180 garments, supporting Goodwill’s mission of reuse, recycling, and workforce development.

While these numbers illustrate the scale of what was accomplished, they represent something even more meaningful. Behind every pound sorted, donation processed, and hour volunteered is a person choosing to make a difference. Collectively, those efforts strengthen the organizations that support our communities and help create opportunities for people to build brighter futures.

As a community bank, we understand that our success is closely tied to the success of the communities where we live and work. Community Impact Day is one of the many ways we put our values into action, demonstrating that good business is about more than financial results—it is about investing in people, strengthening relationships, and helping communities flourish.

We are incredibly proud of our team members for embracing this opportunity to serve and grateful to our nonprofit partners for the vital work they perform every day. Their impact extends far beyond a single afternoon, touching lives throughout the year.

Because in the end, extraordinary things happen when committed people come together in service. What may seem like an ordinary act of giving can create a lasting impact for an entire community.
