Artisans’ Bank has a rich history of fostering strong connections within the community it serves.

With a commitment to social responsibility and local engagement, we have proudly supported various initiatives and projects that uplift our neighborhoods. In June 2025, we took our community focus to the next level. This new initiative, known as the Artisans’ Bank Community Impact Day, involved an enhanced outreach program and partnerships with local organizations/state-run programs.

Why this focus? And why now? We aim to be more than a financial institution; we want to be a key support for our communities, contributing to their growth and well-being.

Community Impact Day, made possible through the support of our board and senior management, was a successful initiative aimed at fostering positive change. For one afternoon, we put our regular banking operations on hold, empowering our team members to engage meaningfully with our local communities and contribute to impactful service efforts.

This team of 30 helped fill 240 boxes of shelf stable food at the Newark Food Bank of Delaware	19 Artisans’ Bank team members went to work building over 1,000 boxes at the Milford Food Bank of Delaware.

This year, the dedicated team members of Artisans’ rolled up their sleeves to support the Food Bank of Delaware, working at both the Newark and Milford locations. There, they diligently sorted through donations, organizing food boxes and packing bags filled with essential items for families in need, ensuring that every package was ready to make a real difference in someone’s life.

Additional members of the Artisans’ team participated in environmental stewardship as part of their commitment to community service at Lums Pond and Cape Henlopen State Parks. With gloves on and tools in hand, they worked on various tasks, including clearing debris from hiking trails, maintaining beach areas, and performing essential site work to enhance the beauty and accessibility of these cherished outdoor spaces. Their efforts not only improved the parks but also strengthened the bonds among colleagues, emphasizing the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie that drives our company’s mission of making a positive community impact.

Each year, we hope to collaborate with various nonprofit and government-run organizations across the state, each of which plays a vital role in serving our communities. Through this initiative, we aim to create a meaningful platform that not only enhances our partnerships with these organizations but also fosters a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose. By working together, we can amplify the positive impact we have on our community and address pressing local issues more effectively. We believe this event will serve as a catalyst for ongoing dialogue, innovative solutions, and stronger relationships among all stakeholders involved.
